Powerful works of art emanate energy, and inspire us, as they give us a boost that we can use in our healing our body-systems. In looking at one particularly amazing work of art, I see man being electrified by the personified Almighty-a transfer of power when man is energized by the spiritual power of The Almighty. Michelangelo was brilliantly able to re-contectualized the energy of spirit for all mankind to appreciate. And like Michelangelo who spent years laboring through the murals that are awe inspiring, healing is such a journey. Do what you need to do. Pray, heal, move, speak in kindness, act with compassion. Treat yourself to great works of art and music, re-enegize .

I mourn the loss of life in such devastation that has rocked our planet, but I see the global consciousness changing.

I see a great potential for healing, healing as a way of our culture. Red Cross, volunteers, economic aid liberated at a global level.

The road to Integrity is often paved with tragedy. What if the tragedy out in the world inspires men to be of service and help a people in need. Was the tragedy worth it?

What if the loss of 100,000 leads to a world unified to help all people’s in need. Was the tragedy worth it? What if the loss of life inspires the transcendence of a people. Is that tragedy?

Each of us, is on our own personal journey, yet each of us is part of a global journey- the journey of our times as a people. The spiritual epiphany that leads to personal transcendence in consciousness of the individual will lead to the transcendence of consciousness as a people. What I do for myself, I do for all others, because ultimately we are all one.

The gift of the tragedy is in the opportunity for those left behind – the challenge: change the world.

Thanks to the ones, who in their own singular way move us all to the healing state of caring, kindness and unity: a state where the world is truly a better place.

Occasionally we all meet people that inspire us. He was a father, a husband and an evolving spiritual creature. We met at the bedside of his daughter. And weeks later he shared this with me…

“The knot in my stomach matched the angst in my chest. he said as he searched for answers, all the while living with the disappointed of dashed hope. He searched for answers…and then he reached peacefulness.

Angst and gastritis are the natural outcomes of such forceful emotions. Do not deny the brute force of the emotions. Feel it fully, for glory of life in human form is emotion. But peacefulness is possible.

“I cannot save her from the struggles, he said. “I cannot shelter her.” And peace came in the instant, I understood. In a moment of clarity I knew she must walk her own path, this ugly and terrible path.

In a moment of clarity, he understood that he couldnot control the the events bringing him to this powerless point of intra-psychic discord. And H couldn’t control the emotions erupting from within him as he watched his child dressed in the disappointment of a hospital gown, laboring in therapy in a struggle for her very life, facing illness living in sickness.

It is terrible to watch your child, childeren wade through such a rising tide. But It is perfect the way it is, isn’t it. There is perfection in the design that allows each of us to create life and to walk our unique path that serves our soul. The struggle is to evolve. Struggle is the gateway to change. Adversity breads character and acceptance brings peace.

“The hurting stopped when my perception changed. he told me.

“So I sat there, caring deeply about the process, but giving over any expectations of outcome. She gave me this gift of a moment of clarity. And I suppose all the while, some where in the timelessness of all that heaven will allow, her soul smiled down saying,

” Great dad, I am glad I am helping you become an adult. We here in heaven can see that you have got potential. Keep up the good work.”

Here is a tip to help you Heal. Go see the Movie The Blindside. It will raise your energy level. You will find power principles that you can understand and that can increase your vibrational energy. This Holiday season, I was blindsided. I expected to see a guy’s guy movie about a football player ascending to stardom. Instead, I saw the heroic journey of a mom who changed another by changing herself. The movie tugged at my heartstrings and I recognized the many power principles.

This was a movie about family, the core of life, and about the importance of individual relationship, yet never deviating from the principle of how endurance and determination combined with fearlessness leads to success. And I am not speaking of the football player as much as the mom. There is a principle of respect for the sacredness of family and of “mother” and making it right with the energy of family as it exists in the world, even when different from our own.

By taking a chance on an unknown boy in distress, the mom risked her own children’s security, and battled the threat of loss of possession. Her ego took a back seat-a Christmas photo that risked condemnation from her friends and family became a powerful symbol of unity consciousness.

The payoff was at the level of heart. With the serenity to change what she had to, she used nurturing love to accept what she could not change- and she suffered the heartbreak of his journey, by giving freedom for another to walk the necessary path of his own life. In the end, there was joy.

Cultivate a simple life. Sage wisdom that may just results in a lowered level of stress, and more peaceful energy system. Less pressure, more clarity, more calmness. Less investment in the outcomes of our journeys, more attention on the journey. The more symplistic our lifestyle, the increase in the capacity to be kind. It is from the calmness within that kindness to others emanates. It is simple. It is simple. The less want, the less state of want, the more I feel free to give, share and be kind. Be kind this Holiday season, I know of many sages who would have wanted that!

Begin at the level you are at. A level unique to you-struggling with a Chronic illness? A new injury? Are you pretty healthy doing OK? Recovering sobriety? Or keeping it together while caring for another who is going through challenge and change? The important point is not the endpoint or the outcome. The important point to the human energy system is the effort, the try, the battle to improve, the battle to be compassionate, the battle to toil on. The effort and the try can take you over a critical point where heal-ability can be reached, and the power gained will fuel many enterprises in your life and within your body. Heal-ability requires power. Power in the form of action. Healing, an internal active enterprise unique to each individual as each individual is unique to the world.

Inspiration comes; the Divine speaks. The mind sets the body in motion doing the work of the soul. Time stands still in service to mankind through selfless acts of sharing, and kindness. Help others help themselves and you help yourself heal as you get in return, what you give. The stories matter; it is soul work where body and spirit, mind and brain work together for higher purpose. Feel the energized emotional state, raised consciousness, and intense sense of purpose as you make a difference, as you make the world a better place. Single acts- holding open a door; courtesy on the road; attentive listening; recycling refuge; planting a tree, add to the power of humanity. Power is needed to reverse oppression and improve conditions in a world as diverse as the people, animals and plants in it. Make a difference, release welfare emotions, feel better.

His eight year old daughter set the table for him, and her two imaginary friends Jinks and Possi, a sister yet to come, and a mother who would miss this meal with her family. He was quiet, forlorn and scared…it was such a tension-filled day, his wife staying overnight for observation before bringing new life into the world. The two fast food bags now emptied, he stared off in worry…

She had to cheer him up. She climbed on his knee and said, “Daddy, I have a present for you…but you have to guess what it is before I give it to you”.

He stared at her soft brown eyes, and quickly looked around to see if he missed a gift wrapped package. But there was nothing at the table but his little girl and her two friends. So he guessed, and she said- “No, not a new car, No, not a set of golf clubs, No, not a big screen, silly daddy. Then with delight, she blurted out the answer; “Today is the gift daddy, that’s why they call it the Present!

And in the eyes of a child he found the power of the present. A moment of joy against the background of worry. He clutched his glorious present and with tears was thankful for his gift.

She came into rehab wreaking of cigarette smoke, delirious on dilaudid and twitching from early alcohol withdrawals. She entered, well, angry. It got worse as the doctors tapered down her medications and the therapists summoned her to move from her place of security, the bed, into the danger zone- a wheelchair. My response to the attorney’s question was simple…”In this state of being her prognosis is poor. Her biggest challenge is her attitude, and her behavioral state is a reflection of her state of being, or level of consciousness.” As I made rounds with the team, I wondered if this were her bottom. An auto-pedestrian collision, now unable to walk, and resistant to the path that lay ahead. I asked the team to treat her with kindness and respect, and give her an opportunity to change. A hot meal, a shower, a clean bed, a clear head and the miracle of “will” saw six weeks of progress where multiple fractures began to heal, and an angry, hostile, witch turn beautiful. I would like to think that her bottom had come and she was moving on up. Ready to leave the hospital, the hard work was now to come. Getting clean is easy. Staying clean is the tough part. Finding the road, and walking the road are two different things entirely.
